Kimberly "Kimmy" Jean McFarland

Kimberly Jean "Kimmy" McFarland, 33, of Salem passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013. She was born on January 7, 1980 in Youngstown, Ohio.

She is survived by her parents, Ed and Debbie Gilcher Rudy, Remlap, AL and Arthur McFarland, Salem, OH, one brother, Jeremy Rudy, Remlap, AL, one sister, Tammy Gould, Salem, OH and three step sisters. Special recognition for her Aunt "Sissy" Wanda Cottrill with whom she made her home and loved her like her second mother.

Kimmy was a 1998 graduate of Maplewood High School, Bristolville, OH and was a secretary for the Heard Record Newspaper, West Union. Kimmy was president of the Doddridge County Heritage Arts, Antique Tractor and Flywheel Festival. She attended Lighthouse Chapel. Kimmy enjoyed cooking, baking, candy making and crafts.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 1:00PM with Pastor Harley Jeffries presiding. Interment will follow in the Coplin Cemetery, Jarvisville. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Saturday after 11AM until time of service.
