Larry Dale Ludwick

Larry Dale Ludwick, 63 of Salem passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at United Hospital Center.  He was born June 24, 1958 at Tinker Air Force Base, OK, the son of William Ludwick Jr of Winchester, VA and the late Shirley Mae Kidwell Ludwick.

Larry graduated from James Wood High School, Class of 1976. He was a surveyor for thirty-two years, last working at Navitus Engineering in Salem. He collected coins and was a marvelous woodworker. He enjoyed spending time on the front porch watching the birds and especially spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his father, Larry is survived by his wife of twenty two years, Dayna Jo Ludwick who he married on August 24, 1999; four children, Heather Dale Ludwick Ayers and husband Cameron, Stafford, VA, Andrew Michael Robine and companion Misty Childers, Salem, Shane Anthony Robine and wife Shannon, Stephenson, VA, Brian Christopher Robine and wife Lisa, Bunker Hill, WV, seven grandchildren, Keaton, Walker, Savannah, Isabella, Ryan, Macy and Lily; daughter-in-law, Danielle Robine, Pink Hill, NC; one brother, Terry Lee Ludwick and wife Gayle, Aurora, NC; one sister, Julie Shingleton, Augusta, WV; his four legged companion Mendy, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his mother, Larry was preceded in death by his son, Jefferey Scott Robine.
