Larry Edwin Siders

Larry Edwin Siders departed his earthly body on October 18th, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born April 27, 1963 in Clarksburg. Larry was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his father Lawrence E Siders, brother Jeffrey L Siders, uncle Ronald “Pete” Myers and wife Nancy A (Hines) Siders. Surviving Larry are his loving mother Marion (Riddle) Siders, daughter Amber D Siders and wife Emalene. Also surviving are his children he was blessed with upon his marriage to Nancy; Annamarie Hines, Heather Cox, and Oliver Frazier. Larry was a beloved brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle to Karen Siders, Devron Siders, wife Colby and sons Avery, Oliver and Henry as well as Jessica Yost, husband Micheal and sons Theodore and Sullivan.  His Aunt Naomi “Jean” Myers, and special cousins Regina Colton and Rick Siders will greatly miss the banter they had. Larry had a special friendship with Dave and Sandra Adams, and Dave Crawford.  Larry was a man of many talents and held many jobs until he found his passion as a school bus driver for Harrison County Schools where he also made lasting friendships. He would look forward to taking the students on extracurricular activities especially sporting events, it did not matter what school he was transporting he would cheer them on hoping that each time they would come out the victor.  The family would like to express extreme gratitude to the staff at Fairmont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center especially to the Nurses, and CNA’s of the South Wing for the care and compassion that they provided to Larry during his residency there. The family would also like to express their gratitude to the Hospice staff of WVU Medicine. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 3:00-7:00PM and on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service 1:00 PM with Pastor Kermit Hines officiating.  Interment will follow at K of P Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on-line to: Parkinson’s Research at www.parkinsonhope.org or Lewy Body Dementia at www.lbda.org.
