Lenita Pearl Hodges, 75, of Route 2, Salem (Sedalia Community) departed this life on Friday, April 23, 2010 in Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born on March17, 1935 on Birch Run, Doddridge County a daughter of the late William and Norma Snider Paugh. On March 21, 1970 she married James E. Hodges who survives.
Also surviving are one son Ricky Watson and wife Jan, Salem, one daughter Pamela Underwood and husband Carson, West Union, three grandchildren, Rusty Underwood and fianc Christy, Katrina See and husband John, Jeremy Watson and wife Barbie, three great grandchildren, Austin and Tyler Nicholson and Olivia See, three brothers, Robert Paugh and wife Mary, Mark Paugh and wife Brenda, both of Miletus, William Paugh and wife Kathy, Dunnellon, FL. Two granddaughters, Jennifer Marie and Laurie Beth Watson preceded her in death.
Pearl worked in the Person Care Centers and Day Care Centers on the Military Bases. She was a member of the Vermont Baptist Church. Pearl was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 1:00PM with Pastor Chad Ash and Pastor Bob Merritt presiding. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Salem. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, April 25th from 6-8PM and Monday, April 26th from 2- 8PM and after 9AM on Tuesday until time of service.
