Letitia "Tish" Baker, 60, of George St., Salem departed this life on Friday, January 9, 2015 in her residence. She was born in Clarksburg on July 27, 1954, a daughter of the late Darrell Lynn Cox Sr. and Patricia Richards Cox. On June 5, 1972 she married William Frederick Baker who survives.
Also surviving is two daughters, Charity Blake and husband, Charles, Shinnston, Tara Smith and husband, Lynn, Salem; grandchildren, Jeremiah Smith, Alaina Smith, Olivia Blake; sister, Pamela Smith, Salem; three brothers, Darrell Lynn Cox Jr. Wisconsin, and Robert and Patrick Cox; and her K-9 friends, Sassy & Rowdy.
Mrs. Baker had been employed by the United Hospital Center with 15 years service. She had attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Salem. Tish enjoyed sewing, crafts and watching WWE. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Catholic burial rites will be celebrated in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 11:00AM with Father Alfred Obiudu as Celebrant. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 4-8PM. Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at www.harbertfuneralhome.com.
