Linda Lou Davis

Linda Lou Davis, 78, of Salem passed away following an extended illness on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Clarksburg Healthcare Center with family by her side. She was born on February 14, 1946, in Lewis County, WV, daughter of the late Orlando Davis Jr. and Alice Virginia Lattea Davis.

Linda attended Bristol High School. She worked as a dietary cook at Salem College Personal Care Home. She enjoyed cooking, camping, traveling and gardening. Linda was a member of Wolf Summit Wesleyan Methodist Church.

Linda is survived by her son, David Lynn Davis and wife Laura of Clarksburg; one granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Davis of Clarksburg; two siblings, Roger L. Davis, of Jane Lew, and Robert L. Davis (Roberta), of New Milton; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, David Charles Davis on September 2, 2024; daughter, Christina “Tina” Renae Davis Squires and husband Richard “Dickie”; and one brother, Richard Davis.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 11:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00PM with Pastor Dan Cope officiating.
