Logan Anthony Ross

Logan Anthony Ross 28, of Clarksburg passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by his side. He was born March 23, 1995 in Clarksburg, son of Andria Ross Lattea and husband George of Marietta, OH and Leslie Black, Fairmont. Logan was doing his best to become a better person. He battled with childhood Epilepsy since he was seven. He had made so much progress in Celebrate Recovery and this had helped him find a new way of living a meaningful life. Logan graduated from Liberty High School, Class of 2014 and attended Clarksburg Beauty Academy. He worked in Fast Food for several area restaurants. He enjoyed working on old cars, fishing, staying up late and watching movies, drawing free hand, going to the mountains, being outdoors, and big dogs. He loved his family and especially his daughter. His greatest wish was to be with his family again for Sunday dinner. In addition to his parents and stepfather, Logan is survived by his daughter, Zada  Ross and her mother, Reva Alton of Jane Lew; maternal grandmother, Debra Devericks Ross, Clarksburg; paternal grandfather, Leslie Black Jr and wife Jinger, Fairmont; siblings, Natasha Deck and companion, Chris Crayton, Meadowbrook, Freddy Deck and wife Elizabeth, Clarksburg; three nephews, Jaxson, Axton, and Madix; one niece, Anniyah; aunts and uncles, Jana Shephard and husband Jeff, St Louis, MO, Lisa Horton and husband Anthony, Fairmont, Anthony Washington and wife Eve, Youngstown, OH, Danita Froumy and husband John, Las Vegas, NV, Jenny Panell and husband Ron, Manassas, VA, Tasha Black, Fairmont; several great aunts, uncles, and cousins. Logan is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jeffrey Alan Ross and paternal grandmother, Carolyn Washington; maternal great grandparents, Billy and Lucille Devericks, Mary and Richard Post and Robert Ross. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 1:00-5:00PM and on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 8:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:00AM with Brother Chad Keener officiating.  Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Jarvisville. Logan gave life to many by being a Core Donor.
