Lucius Arden Krafft, 78, 0f Route 1, Wolf Summit left his earthly home with his family by his side at 9:15AM, Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Jimmy was waiting for his Daddy. Arden was born on April 18, 1932 at Milroy, Braxton County a son of the late James Barney and Genevieve Mollohan Krafft. On September 29, 1952 he married Barbara Rowan Krafft at his parents home at green Hill. Braxton County who survives.
He leaves behind three daughters, Sharon Herrod and husband Paul, Marshville, Kathy Dotson and husband Rick, Newburg, Deena Radabaugh and husband Albert, Westover, one son, John Krafft and wife Heather, Jarvisville, five grandsons, Chad Herrod and wife Amber, Apex, N.C., Philip Dotson and wife Sally, Fairmont, Caleb Radabaugh, Westover, Logan and Austin Krafft, Jarvisville, two great grandchildren, Porter Herrod, Apex, N.C., Lili Dotson, Fairmont, two brothers, Arnold Krafft and wife Juanita, Doddridge County, Delmos Krafft and wife Cyndy, Chesterton, IN, four sisters, Norma Beamer, Corydon, IN, Lola Beamer, Oh, Judie Kyle, Winchester, VA, Donna Long, VA, several nieces and nephews and three special sisters-in-law, Betty and Irene Krafft, and Glenda Beller.
One son, Jimmy Krafft, one sister, Lorena Krafft, two brothers, Blair and Farrell Krafft, twin granddaughters, Mary Ann and Mary Jo Dotson preceded him in death.
Arden attended school in Braxton County and worked from a young age in timber and retired from Southern States, Clarksburg with 30 years of service. He was a protestant.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2011 in the Krafft family home at Jarvisville at 1:00PM with Rev. Danny Fleming and Rev. Jeff Burnside presiding Interment will follow on the family farm. The family will receive friends at the home on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 2-9PM.
