SALEM Margaret Faye Nesbitt, 86, of Route 1, Salem, W.Va. passed away on Monday, May 19, 2008, in the Sunbridge Nursing Home, Salem.
She was born on December 24, 1921, in Salem, a daughter of the late Rufus and Floda Lough Davis.
On November 14, 1945, she married James Wilson Nesbitt Sr., who preceded her in death on April 2, 1961.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy Anne White and husband, Argyle, of Little Hocking, Ohio; two sons, John Nesbitt (Becky) of Salem, and James Wilson Nesbitt Jr. of Parkersburg, W.Va.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hope Knapp of Marshville, and Anne Hurst of Salem; one brother, Matthias Willoughby Bill Davis and wife, Judy, of Columbus, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Margaret enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family. She had attended Enon Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at 2 p.m. in the Marshville Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Dale Thorngate officiating.
