SALEM Marjorie D. Collum, 94 years of age, of Moorestown, N.J., formerly of Salem, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008.
She was born on May 28, 1913, a daughter of the late Leslie and Ottis Sylvia Digman Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Collum, and daughter, Rebecca Tate.
Surviving are one daughter, Elnora C. VanCuren, of Moorestown, NJ; six grandchildren, Marjorie McWilliams, Glen Tate, Pamela Balser, and Russell, Timothy and Tom VanCuren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Davis, of Dallas, TX, and Duane Davis, of Salem; one sister, Carolyn Cooper, of Salem; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Collum worked for the IRS in Parkersburg for over 30 years and was the church secretary for the Berean Baptist Church in Reynoldsburg, OH. She loved her family and her Lord and Savior. She was involved in many Christian Ministries, and is now safely home in heaven.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 10, 2008, at the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 11, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Salem. Mrs. Collum will lie in state one hour prior to her service. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
