Michael Alan Bunting

Michael Alan Bunting, 23 of West Union passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born May 2, 1997 at United Hospital Center, son of Dwayne Alan and Linda Faith Brookover Bunting, West Union. Michael graduated from Doddridge County High School, Class of 2015.  He was a truck driver, last working for RD Wilson.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers and anything outdoors. He loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his fiancée, Gabriella Louise Glaspell, one brother, John Tyler Bunting and fiancée, Madison Paige Lacher; maternal grandmother, Betty Jane Underwood Brookover; paternal grandmother, Shirley Kay Peters Bunting; extended family, Shawn Aaron and LaRessa Ann Brunetti Glaspell; Emmalea Payge Glaspell; Aaron Arby Glaspell; Frank Edward and Martha Ann Richards Brunetti; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Chester Eugene Brookover; paternal grandfather, John Alexander Bunting; nephew, John Carter Lacher Bunting; cousin, Mistina Star Gray. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W Main Street, Salem, WV, on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 2-8pm and Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 9AM until time of funeral service at 11:00AM with Pastor Harley Jeffries officiating with proper distancing and face mask required.
