Michael "Mike" Lee Lyons, Sr

Michael "Mike" Lee Lyons Sr, 75 of Salem, Marshville Community passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020. He was born February 29, 1944 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late Robert Lee and Thelma Geraldine Junkins Lyons.

Mike served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Lyons Used Cars in Clarksburg for many years and even continued at his home in Marshville.  He enjoyed doing puzzles and collecting coins.

Mike is survived by two sons, John Lyons and Michael Lyons Jr both of Marshville; one daughter, Michelle Gum and Kenneth, Marshville; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Loretta Hinerman and Max, Sardis; one daughter-in-law, Martha Buller, Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his wife Doris “Dottie” Ann Lyons on October 17, 2009; one son, Raymond “Bo” Buller; one great granddaughter, Serenity Star Jones.

Family will receive friends at Greathouse Funeral Home, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 3-7pm; Funeral Service will be held at Greathouse Funeral Home on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 11:00 am with Pastor Steve Hinerman presiding. Interment will follow at Marshville Baptist Church Cemetery.
