Michael "Mike" Vernon Sutton, 77 of Salem passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Salem Center. He was born August 25, 1944 in Doddridge County, son of the late Francis Sutton and Isabelle Virginia Lefevere Thompson. He was self-employed as a Drywall finisher for several years. He was an avid reader, hunting deer and ginseng and being outdoors. He is survived by one sister, Helen Phillips, Leesville, LA; several nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his wife Corlene Sutton on August 6, 2015. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory- Salem is handling the cremation and honored to serve the Sutton family.
