Nancy Irene Greer

Nancy Irene Greer, 45, of Valley St., Salem was called Home on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 19, 1964 a daughter of Hubert Bud Garrett and Betty Muriel Connor Garrett, Clarksburg. On December 24, 1981 she married Michael David Greer who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Aimee Buchanan and husband, Daniel, Jacksonville, FL, Jennifer Michelle Greer, Salem, one granddaughter, Rebecca Elise Buchanan, two sisters, Linda Siron, Jackonsville, FL, Terri DeWitt, Salem, two brothers, Hubert Pat Garrett, Clarksburg, Howard Howdy Garrettt, Sardis and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Two sisters, Rebecca Garrett and Elizabeth Betsy Long and one nephew,
Seneca Garrettt preceded her in death.

Nancy enjoyed spending time at the river and camping. She also enjoyed walking the beaches and collecting shells. Her hobbies were dancing and clogging. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Rick Sale presiding. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Quiet Dell. Family and friends will be received
In the funeral home chapel on Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 2-7PM.
