Nancy Ann (Hines) Siders

Nancy Ann Siders, 62 of Salem passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born September 30, 1960 in Norfolk, VA the daughter of Helen Delores Plauger Hines, New Milton and the late Kermit Grover Hines Jr. Nancy graduated from Doddridge County High School, Class of 1978 and Clarksburg Beauty Academy.  She worked as a legal secretary and receptionist for many years. Nancy was on the Salem City Council for ten years. Her hobbies were going shopping, reading, doing crafts, listening to country music, collecting angels and anything WVU. Her life was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Nancy is survived by her husband, Larry Edwin Siders; four children, Heather Cox, New Milton, Annamarie Short, Charleston, WV, Oliver “Keith” Frazier and Stephanie, Amesville, OH, Amber Siders and Emmy, Beckley, WV; seven grandchildren, Nerual McCandless, Quinn Cox, Kiah Short, Eva Short, Aleah Short, Ella Frazier and Rowan Frazier;  four siblings, Kermit Hines (Lisa), Seaford, DE, Michelle Gregori (Stephen), Hurlock, MD, Paul Hines (Theresa), Cambridge, MD, Christopher Hines (Sarah), Kenna, WV; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Marion Riddle Siders, Salem; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 3:00-7:00PM and on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service 11:00AM with Pastors Kermit and Lisa Hines officiating.  Interment will follow at K of P Cemetery.
