Paul Harry Edgell

Paul H. Edgell, 84 of Sycamore Rd. Salem departed this life on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. He was born on April 13, 1928 in Seminole a son of the late Charles Edgar and Jessie Jett Edgell. On April 4, 1953 he married Patricia Shaw Edgell who preceded him in death on April 3, 2007. Mr. Edgell had lived in Lancaster, OH from 1970 until 2003.

Surviving is one son, Jeffrey L. Edgell, Alexandria, VA, one sister, LaVaughn Pickie Anderson, Shinnston, many nieces and nephews and his dog, Sadie. Two brothers, Donald and Leonard Edgell and one sister, Kathleen Kyle preceded him in death.

Mr. Edgell was retired from the U.S. Coast Guard as a Master Chief Petty Officer with 22 years service and also retired from the State of Ohio as a Sewage Treatment Supervisor with 10 years service. He was a member of Friendship Lodge #56 AF & AM, West Union. Although he was an avid hunter and fisherman, Mr. Edgell most enjoyed sitting around a campfire with family and friends.
