Randall Lee Evans, Sr., 56, of West Virginia Ave., Salem departed this life on Monday, January 24, 2011. He was born on July 20, 1954 in Clarksburg a son of Dortha Evans Chipps, Salem and the late Hayward Chipps.
Also surviving are two sons, Randall Lee Evans, Jr. and wife Tiffany, Susanville, CA, Mason Dean Evans, Fairmont, two daughters, Kayla Letsom and husband Ryan, Clarksburg, Stephanie Marzin and husband, Michael, Wooster, OH, grandchildren, Logan Evans, Ali Murzin, Brooklynn, Rhyelynn and Maddielynn Letsom, two sisters, Joyce Chipps and Rebecca Murphy, Salem and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Evans was employed by Meadowbrook Mall Inc in the maintenance department with 30 years service, he was a former employee of Salem Glass Company with 15 years service. Randall enjoyed fishing, playing Play Station 2, spending time with his dog and family. His smile and laughter will be extremely missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11:00AM in the Salem United Methodist Church with Reverend Kevin Bender presiding.
