At an early age he acquired the name Tinker and that is how he was known all his life. Tinker was a professional carpet installer and was employed by various local retailers, most recently by Custom Carpet of Nutter Fort for the past several years. He enjoyed his work and continued to work until his illness. Tinker also enjoyed all aspects of the outdoors, including, gardening, hunting and fishing. The family would like to express their gratitude to Tinkers fishing buddies who in the true spirit of friendship accompanied him on fishing trips, especially the big one to Lake Erie in June. Their compassion during his illness boosted his spirits and gave him something to look forward to which was appreciated.
