Robert Eugene Clayburn, 82 of W. Main St. Salem departed this life on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at his residence. He was born on July 6, 1933 in Salem a son of the late James and Sarah Margaret Lyons Clayburn.
Surviving are several dear nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Denzil, Charles & Junior Clayburn and one sister, Pauline McClain.
Robert was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Salem Church of God. Robert was a friend to all and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 11:00AM with Pastor Mike Cox presiding. Interment will follow in the W. V. National Cemetery, Pruntytown. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Monday after 9AM until time of service. Harbert Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Clayburn family.
