Rosa Davis Obituary

Rosa Lee Davis, 60, of Jane Lew passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011. She was born on October 27, 1950 in Peora, a daughter of Dorothy Jean Burge Eddy, Gypsy and the late Otis G. Eddy. On July 31, 1978 she married Roger Lee Davis who survives.

Surviving is two daughters, Vicki L. Law and husband Nelson, Salem, Becky A White and husband, Gary, Salem, step-daughter, Corinnia Pratt and husband Greg, Salem, step- son, Roger Allen Davis, Salem, six grandsons, Nelson Dale Law, Joshua Starkey, Cody, Christopher and Greg Pratt, one granddaughter Tasha White, great granddaughter, Angel Marie Starkey, three sisters, Betty Kittle, Gypsy, Bonnie Tenney and Lana Luby both of Buckhannon. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Steven Starkey, Jr.

Mrs. Davis was a former employee of One Valley Bank in Salem for 13 years as a teller, she is currently employed by Towne House East as a desk clerk. Rosa enjoyed going to Atlantic City to play slot machines and working on her computer. She was Baptist. Rosa was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family.

Friends may call in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem from 4-8PM, Saturday May 28, 2011 where funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 2PM with Reverend Kevin Bender officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Mission Cemetery, New Milton.
