Obituary-Salem-Ruby Mae Moore 86 of Clarksburg passed away on Monday July 14, 2008 in the Clarksburg Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born on October 10, 1921 in Salem a daughter of the late Archie J. and Elsie Mae Hudson Hurst.
Her husband Albert E. Moore preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Cheryl Griffith and husband, Mike, Clarksburg, six sons, Charles N. Moore and wife, Barbara, Ravenna, OH, Alan Moore and wife, Patty, Clarksburg, Albert L. Moore, Grafton, Gary Moore and wife, Jean, and Terry Moore and wife, LaMia, Selma, NC, Mykel Moore and wife, Carolyn, Clarksburg, 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one sister, Nina Bailey, Clarksburg. One daughter, Clara Mae Moore, three brothers, Archie J., Wayne W. and Bernard W. Hurst and one sister, Ila Moss preceded her in death.
Mrs. Moore was retired from the Clarksburg Drug Company with 40 years service. Mrs. Moore lived in Hawaii for 21 years after her retirement during which time she also traveled to many parts of the world. She returned to her home in West Virginia in 2003. She enjoyed music and bingo and was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Friends may call in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 4-8 PM where funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 16th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Joe Riggs officiating. Interment will follow in the K of P Memorial Park, Salem.
