Russell Scott Carder, 51 of Salem died Saturday, August 3, 2013 in WVU Medical Center, Morgantown following an extended illness. Russell was born on March 12, 1962 in Clarksburg a son of Patricia Ann Carder, Salem and the late James Denzil Carder, Jr.
Surviving is one sister, Diane Lynn Haskins and husband Junior, Salem, one brother, Jeffery Keith Carder and wife Reva, Salem, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Russell is survived by his companion and longtime care-giver, Betty Kinney, Salem.
Even in death Russell was able to give life to others as he was an organ donor.
Russell will be cremated and no public services are planned at this time. Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at www.harbertfuneralhome.com. Harbert Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Carder family.
