Sharan Sue Bell

Sharan Sue Bell 68 of Miletus Rd. Salem departed this life on Sunday March 22, 2015. She was born on January 3, 1947 in New Martinsville a daughter of the late Carl E. and Mary Louise Inghram Batton. On August 13, 1965 she married Roger 'Jack" Bell who survives.

Also surviving is one daughter, Angela L. Wilt, Charlestown, WV, two sons, John D. Bell, Salem, Benjamin T. Bell, Las Vegas, NV one grandson, Austin M. Bell, two sisters, Kitty Pomeroy, Scottsdale, AZ, Carla Harrison, New Martinsville, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bell graduated from Dunedin High School, Dunedin, FL. Sharan was a wonderful, loving, funny and selfless mother and friend. She was also a social and active woman who was deeply dedicated to her community, church and children's schools for the majority of her life. She genuinely enjoyed people, lending a hand to anyone in need and most of all making a home for her children who were the world. Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind, generous and devoted person. The family would like to extend a special thanks to People's Hospice and the nurses at Genesis Health Care Center for their wonderful care.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Friday March 27, 2015 at 1:00PM with Pastor Roger Fontaine officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Friday, March 27, 2015 after 11AM until time of service.
