Shirley Ann (Ash) Montour, 79, of Bristol passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at home. She was born on December 11, 1944, in Bristol, WV, daughter of the late Goldie Bartlett and Shirley Jeanetta Wallace Ash.
Shirley worked as a CNA at UHC and Salem Nursing and Rehab. She was also a beautician in Salem. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, doing puzzle books, watching Hallmark shows, taking walks and riding on the Harley. She loved Elvis and spending time with her family.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 15 years, George W Montour whom she married March 14, 2009; children, Helen Flanagan Sullivan (David), Morgantown, John M Flanagan (Barbara), Clarksburg; Lonnie A Flanagan (Theresa), Clarksburg; grandchildren, Sabrina Wilcox, Laura Wilcox, Ellie Whited, Annie Flanagan, Theresa Bean, Donald Bean, Kaylee White (Scott), Chase Flanagan (Katie), Connor Flanagan (Shelby), Mariah Edgell (James), Helana Reichner, Eddy Reichner, and Johnny Reichner; great grandchildren, Kaiden, Addi, Lila, Cole, Dakota, Colton and Deegan; siblings, Helen Davis, Salem, Bill Ash, Bristol, Debbie Ash, Salem, Wallace “Wally” Ash (Cathy), West Union several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by one daughter, Stacy Lea Reichner; one brother, Goldie Bartlett Ash Jr.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 3:00-700PM and on Wednesday, September, 4, 2024 from 9:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Allen officiating.
