Susan A. Owens

Susan A. Owens, 70 of Jarvisville Rd. Salem departed this life on Friday, July 3, 2015
in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport. She was born on January 20, 1945 in Plainfield, N.J. a daughter of the late Elmer Edward and Elva Susan Wenzel Perrine.

Surviving is her husband of 51 years George F. Owens, one son Brian Owens and wife Jennifer, Salem and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Owens had worked for Summit Center and retired from Tender Loving Care as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed gardening, antiquing and collecting animal shaped ceramic and pottery coffee creamers. Susan was Catholic by faith.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11:00AM with Pastor Ed Balis officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Susan's memory.
