Vada Mae Dennison Garrett 64 of Clarksburg departed this life on Monday March 23, 2015 in the Crestview Manor Nursing Home, Jane Lew. She was born on February 8, 1951 in Harrison County a daughter of the late Kenneth and Lucy Short Dennison. On October 22, 1981 she married Herman E. Garrett who preceded her in death on September 29, 1991.
Surviving is three sisters, Dorinda Hawker, Philippi, Delores Bonnell and husband Pat, New Milton, Starlette Lindsey and husband Stephen Lindsey Sr., Wolf Summit, one brother, Robert Dennison and wife Patti, Buckhannon, a special friend Rod Zigan, Clarksburg. She was preceded in death by one sister, Glenda Stout, five brothers, James Nay, Kenneth Dennison II, Farren Dennison, William Edward Dennison and Daniel Nay, one nephew, Keith Dennison.
Mrs. Garrett was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed computer games and facebook. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend and will be sadly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00AM with Pastor Dave Cumpston officiating. Interment will follow in the Coplin Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Friday March 27, 2015 from 4-8PM.
