Vickie Lynn (Davis) Wetzel

Vickie Lynn Wetzel, 64 of Salem passed away on Wednesday, October 07, 2020 at her residence with family by her side. She was born February 27, 1956 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Richard Lee Davis Jr and Garnet Lee Law Davis. Vickie retired from the FBI as a Legal Instrument Examiner with over twenty years of service. Vickie was a member of the Enon Baptist Church. She loved spending time gardening and loved her special little fur babies. Vickie is survived by her husband Davy “Butch” Lee Wetzel Jr whom she married on July 21, 1973; one daughter, Jana Marie Wetzel, Salem; one son, Davy Lee Wetzel III, Salem; one sister, Janice Henrey and Donald Layfield, Sardis; three brothers, Richard Davis and Donna, Salem, John Davis and Cynthia, Duncanville, TX, James Davis and Tina Ash, Salem; brother-in-law, Randall Wetzel, Salem; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by her sister Sandra Wetzel. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W Main Street, Salem, WV, on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 12 Noon- 6pm and Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 12Noon until time of funeral service at 2:00PM with Pastor Larry McKim officiating with proper distancing and face mask required.
