William Bill Lee Reaser Jr. 64 of Mary Lou Ave. Clarksburg, formerly of Salem, departed this life on Monday, October 3, 2016 in the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Center. He was born on December 20, 1951 in Clarksburg a son of the late William Lee and Doris J. Reaser. On May 5, 1972 he married Brenda William Reaser, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons David Reaser and fianc Charlotte Grabowski, North East, MD; Danny Reaser and wife Jamie, Salem; one daughter, Mary Beth Reaser, Clarksburg; grandchildren, Keegan Reaser, Chance Reaser, Mackenzie Reaser all of Salem; Katelyn Reaser, Rebecca Grabowski, North East, MD; two sisters, Linda Reaser Martin and husband Joe, Salem; Kathy Reaser Bombardiere and husband Larry, Niceville, FL; one brother, Leslie Reaser and wife Kim Hickman Reaser, Lake Floyd.
Mr. Reaser graduated from Bristol High School in 1969 and attended Salem College. He served in the West Virginia National Guard 1092nd Engineering Battalion Salem, and served in the 372nd Military Police Battalion, US Army Reserve, Cumberland, MD. Bill was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates Baseball fan. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church and was currently attending Oak Mound Evangelical Church. Bill also enjoyed his time as a volunteer at the VA Hospital in Clarksburg.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at Enon Baptist Church, Flinderation Rd. Salem on October 15, 2016 at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Harbert Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Reaser family.
