Wilma May Grubb, 76, of Route 2, Salem (Big Flint Community) passed away on Monday, June 15, 2009 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 25, 1932 on Plum Run a daughter of the late William Leonard and Emma Pearl Hickman Myers. On December 18, 1958 she married Donald Grubb, Sr. who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Nelda Purk and fianc Eric, Spring Hill, TN, Bonnie Orosz and husband Rick, Franklin, TN, two sons, Donald Grubb, Jr., Salem, Jason Grubb and wife Melissa, Kalamazoo, MI, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two sisters, Lacy Geraldine Johnson, and Betty Hawkins, both of Weirton. One son, Jeffrey Lee Grubb preceded her in death.
Mrs. Grubb worked in the General Motors Cafeteria, Kalamazoo, MI as a line cook for 19 years. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, car races and antique car shows. Wilma was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and always thought of others first. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
